Ahhhh Love.....

I love stamping and love is the theme for this card. This is my first entry for the Addicted to A Muse site for the February home page. It is just a quick card but I am very excited that I got one of my cards completed tonight and starting to use my goodies.

Good Intentions

I had good intentions of trying to stamp a few cards with my goodies that I got for myself. However, all attempts were foiled by my unorganization. I need a good cheap way to store my ink pads. Right now my Stampin' Up ink pads look like this.....

Some are in a HUGE tote bag that I usually lug them around in when I go stamp with friends and they don't have all the colors. Now I have the other half of them all over my stamping area. All I needed was one stinkin' color - basic black. I couldn't use any other brand either, which are not stored very great either.

I'm so flustered now. I'm calling it quits and hitting the hay. If you have any good suggestions for storing all my inks, please share them with me. I had the color caddy from SU' and it broke :(
Looking for an inexpensive way to go now. Hopefully things work out better tomorrow.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY....SEE HOW I SPOILED MYSELF

I decided to treat myself to some goodies for my birthday. Here is a look of what I got....

First package was A Muse. I needed some more stamps so I can participate in the challenges posted, then of course I need some more glitter pens and some cool letters. I wanted to splurge a little more because I had a coupon. But since I also got.....

Some of the Nestabilities that I keep hearing so many great things about and the Giga scalloped heart punch. That's not all.

I know this is not the best picture, but since I seven sets from Gina K Designs, it was hard to fit them all it without a glare. Is that it you ask?

OH NO. I also got myself some Bellas to add to my collection. I got 2 in the mail the other day and some more are on their way.

I know this may seem like a lot to those who don't understand the addiction, like my son. To me, it's just a few things that I really really needed and decided to treat myself to.

Cupcake Birthday

As much as I dislike New Year's Resolutions, I made one to work on my blog as much as possible. As you can see, so far I'm not doing so well. Thankfully, I have a lot of on my plate to kick my butt into gear. I hope you come back and check out what I have up my sleeve.

I made this birthday card for "the Queen" in my A Muse Addicts group on yahoo. I found the cute cupcakes sy Target, they are actually dog toys and even though my dog probably won't play with them I could not resist them.

Things are finally starting to slow down so I hope to be fully up and running by weeks end, if I have all my stuff complete for the SU! party I will be doing this weekend. Any whoo.... I was perusing all my favorite sites when I came across this....

As much as I love reading other peoples blogs, lately I keep asking myself what was I thinking starting one myself at the beginning of summer. Things have been so hectic with end of the year school stuff and sporting events (GO PISTONS, RED WINGS & TIGERS). Pom poms are waiving. With all that, I hope to have my page done soon.

I just wanted to let everyone know (those very few who don't already know this :)) that it is thta time of year again, the SU retired list is out. I am already anxiously awaiting the new catalog after seeing what will be leaving. http://www.stampinup.com/us/enu/8071.asp
